Keira Knightley Talks Anne Hathaway Look-a-Like Confusion, Being Out of Work

Keira Knightley has been nominated for several Golden Globe awards and even an Oscar, but that doesn't mean people don't often confuse her for other A-list actresses!

The Imitation Game starrer admits to the Daily Telegraph that people mistake her for several other celebrities, including Anne Hathaway! Ironically, Knightley stepped in for Hathaway at the last minute for the independent film, Laggies, which worked out for the Pirates of the Caribbean star as she admits she was out of work at the time!  

"She dropped out very late in the process and they were scrambling a bit to find somebody and I was...well, I didn't have anything," the actress admits. 

Stylistically, it's completely different from what I had been doing previously so it was very much 'jump in and hope for the best.'"

As far as looks go it worked out perfectly because she says people think she is the Les Misérables star all the time, even while undercover at the airport.

"Actually I think I have to apologize to Anne Hathaway because the woman (at the airport) thought I was being really rude as Anne Hathaway not giving her a picture as Anne Hathaway but I was really only saying that I promised I wasn't Anne Hathaway -- which I am not."

Often a victim of mistaken identity, Knightley seems to have a sense of humor about the whole thing, as she also discusses the other A-listers she gets confused for while out and about.

"Actually it's the first Anne Hathaway I have had. Generally I get a lot of Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman."

Now that the 29-year-old is expecting a little bundle of joy with husband James Righton, she will soon be a sporting a baby bump that will certainly differentiate her from her other Hollywood colleagues! For a while, however, it was tough to tell whether or not she was pregnant because of her tiny frame. We can't wait to see her pregnancy style!
