Nick Gordon Trying ''Everything He Can'' to See Bobbi Kristina Brown in the Hospital--but Just ''Privately,'' So Far
Nick Gordon continues to insist that he's been banned from Bobbi Kristina Brown's hospital bedside.
But he hasn't taken legal action against her family...yet.
"Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively," Gordon's attorney, Randall Kessler, said in a statement Wednesday. "He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted."
TMZ reported last Friday, however, that Houston family sources had shot down Gordon's claims, saying that he has been steering clear of Atlanta's Emory University Medical Center, where Bobbi Kristina remains on life support. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 31 after being found that morning facedown in a bathtub full of water in the Roswell, Ga., condo she shared with Gordon.
Up till just weeks ago it was widely believed that Gordon and Bobbi Kristina were married, but her father has since said that the couple's union was never legal.
Gordon, meanwhile, has unveiled a new tattoo of Bobbi Kristina's name inked across his forearm, posting a photo of the artwork Sunday on Facebook.
Responding to the first round of he-said, they-said about Gordon's visitation attempts, or lack thereof, Kessler said on Feb. 12: "In response to reports that Nick Gordon is taking legal action, he would like it to be clear, he is not. Mr. Gordon's only concern is the recovery of Bobbi Kristina. He remains in constant prayer for his companion and he hopes to be reunited with her soon. Despite the incredible public interest, we ask and hope that this request can be resolved privately by Mr. Gordon and the family."
Moreover, Bobby Brown's lawyer issued a statement last week imploring the media to stop getting their info from "unauthorized members of the family."
"The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised," lawyer Christopher Brown (no relation) said. "Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina."
Roswell Police have confirmed that there's an ongoing criminal investigation into what happened to the 21-year-old woman.
