Ed Sheeran's Girlfriend Posts the Cutest Picture of the Birthday Boy as Fans Await His Massive Tour

Ed Sheeran is getting a whole lot of love today!

The "Thinking Out Loud" singer is celebrating his 24th birthday and there's more than a few reasons for any fan to celebrate.

Before we get to his big plans for the year ahead, girlfriend Athina Andrelos posted a rare Instagram with the two together that got fans squealing with delight. Simply captioned "24," the candid shot shows the twosome dressed in sumo wrestling outfits in a room filled with several balloons.

Although Sheeran has tried to keep his relationship super private, he couldn't help but share a few details about his leading lady to Ryan Seacrest.

"I don't like to sing to her in private because that's really creepy and weird," he explained during an interview with On-Air With Ryan Seacrest. "If someone did that to you, like legitimately, if someone sat you down like, 'Hey baby, I'll come play some...' You'd be a bit awkward right?" Good point, Ed. Good point!

So what does the "Give Me Love" singer have up his sleeves for the year ahead? To the delight of his fans, he's going on a massive tour in just a few months.

"We start at the New Orleans Jazz Festival but it's all over the country," the singer told Ellen DeGeneres. "It's exciting. I love coming back and touring America."

And when not performing to sold-out crowds, chances are Taylor Swift's good friend will be making an impression on dozens of artists around the country.

"Happy birthday to my favorite teddy," Christina Perri tweeted Tuesday morning. Rixton member Danny Wilkin added, "Happy Birthday bud! This year is going to be a lot of fun! See you soon!!!"
