Selena Gomez Reveals Her Celebrity Crush (and It's Not Justin Bieber)

Cover your ears, Justin Bieber: Selena Gomez has the hots for another guy!

The 21-year-old singer-actress revealed on Wednesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live that she had a crush on one of her Rudderless co-stars long before she knew they'd be working together...

So who was it?! Billy Crudup! Apparently, Selena fell for the now 46-year-old actor after seeing him as guitarist Russell Hammond in 2000's Almost Famous.

"I had a crush on him," she admitted, giggling. "I went through my whole Almost Famous phase, so I was like Penny Lane for a good month--I wore the outfits and had the hair and the glasses...and then, I found out I was going to be a part of the movie [with Billy] and it took me a minute at first, because I kind of had a little bit of a crush on him!"

Jimmy asked Selena if she told Billy about her crush. "No, gosh, no," she answered emphatically. "Well, evidently I'm telling him now....I don't have to do press with him anymore so it's fine."

"And the crush is over now that you've gotten to know him?" the late-night host quipped.

"Um, no, what are you saying?" Selena replied with a grin. "No, no, he's a great guy. He's completely awesome. We had the best time."

In other words, sorry Jelena shippers: Selena's still got a crush on Billy! Their Rudderless roles were far from romantic, though. In the flick, Billy plays the father of Selena's character's late boyfriend, and both are in the process of grieving his untimely death.

Netflix Pumps Brakes on Will Smith Action Film ‘Fast and Loose’

  Netflix has slowed development on its upcoming action-thriller “Fast and Loose” which Will Smith has been attached to star in. The project has been moved to the streamer’s back burner in the days following the 2022 Oscars ceremony, during which Smith walked onstage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about the appearance of Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
