Kim Kardashian Wears Cleavage-Baring Dress at 34th Birthday Party in Las Vegas
Wearing a slinky, cleavage-baring dress that complimented her hourglass figure, Kim Kardashian celebrated her 34th birthday at the posh Venetian Hotel and Casino's TAO nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday night with family and friends.
The list included husband and rapper Kanye West, mother Kris Jenner and sister Khloé Kardashian, who shared a video of the guess of honor posing on the red carpet, Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck, both of whom have appeared on the family's reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians and its spinoffs, and her glam squad, makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic and hair stylist Jen Atkin.
The birthday girl wore a ruched white Alexandre Vauthier dress with a V-neck waist-skimming plunging neckline, a favorite style worn at past events and on the show, paired with black Givenchy sandals.
"Vega$ Nights have begun," Kim said on her Instagram page.
Kim and her entourage were met with happy screams and a shower of confetti as they walked into the club and settled at their VIP table, which featured illuminated signs spelling out her name as well as paper fans featuring her image from the Kim Kardashian: Hollywood app. DJ Eric D-Lux played several of Kanye's tracks, including "Bound 2," as his wife and Khloé danced.
Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp came over to Kim's table to greet the family as well.
The reality star was presented with a four-tier white birthday cake from Gimme Some Sugar, which had the the words "Happy birthday Mrs. West" written on it. Kim has often celebrated her birthday at the popular nightclub.
Before the party, the guests watched Kanye perform at the 2014 Life Is Beautiful Festival in Downtown Las Vegas.
Kanye proposed to Kim on her 33rd birthday last year, at AT&T Park (home of the San Francisco Giants and one of the sites of the ongoing 2014 MLB World Series). The two wed this past May.
On the red carpet, Kim talked to E! News about a personalized birthday gift her hubby had given her, in addition to a recent romantic Hawaii vacation, created with the help of their 1-year-old daughter, North West.
"He got me this purse and it was really pretty painted," she said. "And my computer was open next to the gift and I was trying to figure out why it was there and I pressed play and it was a video of her actually painting it. She spent hours getting paint all over herself and painting this purse and he captured it all. It was so, so sweet."
Kim also talked about her and West's plans for a second child, saying, "I've been thinking about it for a while, but you know, I'm trying." She had made similar comments in September.
