Christina Milian Reveals Drama From Her Upcoming Reality Series: "We're Cuban, We're Loud, We're Fun"
"I'm at the moment in a very transitional state," Lizzy explained. "I'm a chef and I'm in a stage right now where I'm living with my sister and she's inspiring me to become this person who takes chances, so I brought her along to a food truck so she could look at them and test them out. Christina is usually the benefactor to all my great ideas."
"She wants to start her own food truck business," Christina added. "Lizzy is pitching her idea to me. She wants to do Kosher Cuban food so she's got to find out how much work it takes to do something like that and inspire someone like myself to say if she should go ahead and do it because obviously we'd both go into business together."
When asked how they felt about allowing cameras into their daily lives to be filmed, both sisters agreed that while it is an exciting experience, it definitely is a bit scary at the same time.
"You have to be very brave for this because you're being very vulnerable and exposing your life to the world," Christina said. "There's moments that you're like, 'Oh, did I just do that?' but you're just being yourself. We're no different from anyone else--we're a family."
Lizzy, who is experiencing for the spotlight for the first time, quickly realized that there's a lot more to being on-camera than she had originally thought.
"It's definitely weird," she added. "Because this is the first time ever that everything is focused on people other than Christina, and now it's all coming back on us now. It's not as easy as it looks, the call times, the long hours--it's actually a job and I didn't realize that."
The series, which revolves around Christina, her sisters Lizzy and Danielle, as well as her "momager" Carmen, promises to include plenty of family drama in addition to capturing the energetic, endearing, and slightly chaotic nature of their household.
"We're Cuban, we're loud, we're fun," Christina explained. "We're storytellers and as women we've become very fearless, trying to break away from traditions."
"There's opportunities to piss each other off and opportunities to make up for it more than before," Lizzy added. "Each of us has our wild side. Each one of us has our thing where we look at the other and we're like, 'I would never do that' or 'She's crazy', but no matter what, we're all coming together and doing it together."
