Justin Bieber Is All About Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass"--Listen to the New Remix!
Justin Bieber is the latest star to figure that it's "all about that bass."
The 20-year-old pop star is featured on a new remix of Meghan Trainor's No. 1 pop and doo-wop song of the same name, courtesy of hip-hop and R&B producer Maejor Ali, who released his own solo version in August.
The original track, which as of Wednesday, tops the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its 13th week, is a fun, easy-to-sing tune that promotes positive body image and self-acceptance...and highlights the female booty, containing lyrics such as "I got that boom boom that all the boys chase/ And all the right junk in all the right places."
In the new remix, Bieber repeats the chorus and paraphrases the song's only explicit lyric, chanting, "We know that s--t ain't real/ We know it's Photoshopped," which kind of takes away the meaning.
