Candice Accola From The Vampire Diaries Marries The Fray's Joe King, Co-Stars Attend New Orleans Wedding.

Congrats to The Vampire Diaries star Candice Accola and The Fray rocker Joe King! Wearing a gorgeous strapless Monique Lhuillier wedding gown with an asymmetrical skirt, the 27-year-old actress and singer, who plays vampire Caroline Forbes on the CW series, and King, 34, tied the knot at the Montegut House in New Orleans on Saturday, her rep told E! News. The bride walked down the aisle to musical accompaniment by Trombone Shorty. "Officially Mr. And Mrs. King! Best night ever!" Accola said on her Instagram page, alongside a black and white of herself being kissed by her new husband. King, who wore a Tom Ford tux, also shared a pic of himself with his bride. "My wife, she makes me wanna dance," he said. And there sure was a lot of it at the wedding. After the ceremony, following a popular French Quarter wedding tradition, the couple kicked off the celebration with a second line parade in the streets of New Orleans, including the famous Bourbon Street, leading guests to the reception. The bride carried a white parasol as she, the groom and their guests danced through the city. Several of Accola's The Vampire Diaries co-stars attended the wedding, including Nina Dobrev, who plays main character Elena Gilbert, E! News has confirmed. Others in attendance were Paul Wesley, who plays vampire Stefan Salvatore, Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie Bennett, Michael Trevino, who plays Tyler Lockwood, and Claire Holt, who plays Rebekah on both The Vampire Diaries and the show's spinoff, The Originals, the latter of which is set and filmed in New Orleans. Kayla Ewell, who played Vicki Donovan on the show, served as a bridesmaid, according to People. Ian Somerhalder, who plays Stefan's brother Damon Salvatore, was unable to make it but did, however, share a touching message for the bride and groom on his Instagram page. "Candace and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you," he said. "From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit!" "I am missing my home state of Louisiana and my city, the great city of New Orleans," he added. "Sending you so much love from my shoot in ATL- i'm working hard & I wish I could be there physically, but we have the rest of our lives to celebrate. I love you guys! So. Much." Several of the actors who did attend the wedding shared photos from their trip on Instagram, as well as funny tweets. Accola also invited her boss to the wedding. The show's executive producer, Julie Plec, also attended. "My god, I love New Orleans," she tweeted, adding, "Vampire Wedding. Spectacular." Accola and King met at the DirecTV's Celebrity BeachBowl in 2012. She announced their engagement in May 2013, showing her gorgeous ring on Instagram. This marks her first marriage and the second for her guitarist hubby, who has two daughters from his first marriage.
