Fergie Reveals Nicki Minaj Collaboration, Recalls ''Embarrassing'' Moment When She Peed Her Pants Onstage
Pound the alarm: two of the hottest female hip hop stars are finally teaming up!
While speaking with "Ebro in the Morning" on Hot 97, Fergie decided to drop some noteworthy news on her forthcoming album, revealing that she's collaborating with none other than Nicki Minaj!
The 39-year-old singer, who released her first solo song in six years "L.A. Love" in late September, announced the news while chatting about her newfound competition in the hip hop world--namely, Minaj and Iggy Azalea, who both rose to success while the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman was taking a break from the music biz.
"Healthy competition, there's nothing wrong with that," she said of her female counterparts. "That's normal. That's just like flirting. It's a normal human thing."
The "London Bridge" singer then shared that her forthcoming album will feature the "Anaconda" rapper although she refused to play a preview of their tune, which was conveniently stored on her cell phone.
Still, despite revealing that her "album comes out next year, beginning of the year," fans may not have to wait quite as long to hear the highly anticipated single.
When asked whether the two may release the tune ahead of Fergie's record debut, Josh Duhamel's missus flashed a smile and said, "Possibly."
Can't wait!
During her lengthy chat on the radio show, Fergie also touched on the infamous moment when she accidentally peed her pants onstage back in 2005, calling it "the most unattractive moment of my life."
"It does not just happen all the time. We were late for stage, driving down the freeway, it's Friday traffic...get to the stage, we have to start right the show, I'm running on and we jump and do 'Let's Get It Started' and I get crazy and I jump and I run across the stage and my adrenaline was going and gosh," she says as she shakes her head in shame.
"I wish it didn't happen," the blond beauty added. "It was so embarrassing!
Another topic which apparently wasn't off limits during the interview? Her sex life with husband Josh Duhamel!
Asked whether she's into "some sexual fantasy stuff," the singer didn't hesitate before she replied, "Oh, role play? Hell, yeah!
"Are you kidding me?" she continued, adding, "I feel sorry for people who don't."
How Fergalicious.
