Kaley Cuoco Slithers With a Serpent as Britney Spears
Rewind to 2001 when belly shirts were in, Justin Bieber was just a 7-year-old Canadian kid and Spears dominated the pop charts with her third studio album's lead single, "I'm a Slave 4 U." She would go on to shock audiences and make music history with a live performance of the song at that year's MTV Video Music Awards, writhing around the stage in an emerald plunging wrap top while holding a live snake in the air.
On Lip Sync battle, Cuoco aimed to recreate the magic of 15 years ago by mimicking the infamous performance in an exact replica of the ensemble—signature snake included.
In addition to the python wrangling, Cuoco also slithered onto the stage by coming down on a hanging vine and later joined similarly-clad backup dancers for a full-out dance routine. Though Cuoco appeared fearless throughout the routine. the stage antics took a bit to get used to.
While first introduced to the reptile backstage, the blond beauty looked petrified as a bystander captured the moment in a candid shot shared to her Instagram account.
Fortunately, she warmed up to the cold-blooded animal in enough time to hit the stage as a bold and brave Britney.
