Drake Just Dropped a New Single Called ''Summer Sixteen''
Listen up all you Drizzy fans out there: new music is here!
That's right, Drake just dropped a new single dubbed "Summer Sixteen" on Apple Music nearly one year after his last mixtape, If You're Reading This It's Too Late hit the radio. The track is said to be his first off of the soon-to-be released album, Views From the 6.
It's been just a few short days since we've heard new tunes from the Grammy winner.
Earlier this week, he was featured on Rihanna's track "Work"—which is her first single off of her already-platinum album, Anti.
And what would a new Drake single be without some name-dropping, right? The rapper's heard giving a shout-out to Jay Z and Kanye Westduring the song, saying: "I used to want to be on Roc-A-Fella, then I turned into Jay. Now I got a house in L.A., now I got a bigger pool than 'Ye."
Okay, before we rush to claim there's yet another Drake feud boiling up, he concludes with: "'Ye's pool is nice, mine's just bigger is what I'm sayin'." Fair is fair, you guys.
Drake also noted on Instagram shortly before the single dropped that the track had its world premiere on OVO Sound Radio and the artwork was done by Filip Pagowski.
