Madonna and Ex-Husband Guy Ritchie in Custody Battle Over 15-Year-Old Son Rocco

The singer and ex-husband Guy Ritchie are currently in a custody battle over their 15-year-old son Rocco, according to the New York Daily News, after a judge ruled today that the young celebuspawn will return to New York to be with Madge after being in London with his father.

"He has expressed very clearly that he does not want to return to New York," Ritchie's lawyer Eric Buckley reportedly said of Rocco in court. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Deborah Kaplan suggested that Rocco talk with the famous singer and then revisit the issue of which parent he prefers, adding that he will receive his own court appointed attorney.

"I'm granting you all the relief you have requested," Kaplan told Madonna, according to the report. "I'm directing the child to be returned to New York. If he wants to stay with his father, he must return to his mother."

Madonna and Ritchie divorced in 2008 and also have an adopted son, David Banda, 10. Madge is also mother to two other children, Lourdes Leon, 19, and Mercy James, 9.

Will Smith Banned From Attending Oscars For a Decade After Chris Rock Incident

  A little less than two weeks after Will Smith   slapped Chris Rock onstage at the 2022 Oscars, the Academy has decided to ban the actor from "any events or programs, in person or virtually, including but not limited to the Academy Awards" for 10 years.   The move comes after board members from the Academy held a meeting on April 8 to determine what disciplinary action would be taken against the actor in the wake of the March 27 show.
