Kim Kardashian Teases Kanye West's New Music, and No, He Wasn't Dissing LeBron James in "Facts"

Kanye West surprised fans once again with new music last week with the song "Facts," but almost instantly did listeners assume it was a diss track—for LeBron James and Drake.

But Yeezy took to Twitter early Friday morning to set the record straight. "The media tried to make it seem like I was downplaying LeBron on my song FACTS which I would never do, Lebron is fam bottom line," he wrote. The lyrics that sparked the controversy are: "Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves / Gave LeBron a billi' not to run away."

The basketball star avoided responding directly to the lyrics, saying, "[Nike founder] Phil Knight's greatest saying is, 'Always listen to the heart of the athlete, listen to the words of the athlete, and that's all it's about, nothing else.'"

Apparently the NBA player didn't have much to say. Listeners also wondered if "Facts" was insulting Drake because of its similar beat to the Canadian rapper's song "Jumpman." Plus, he raps these lyrics: "Yeezy Yeezy Yeezy just jumped over jumpman."

Insult or coincidence? You decide.

Now that West and Lebron got that out of the way, his wife, Kim Kardashian can focus on what's more important: when he'll be releasing more new music. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star also took to Twitter to tease that her hubby will apparently be dropping tracks every Friday, which he used to do in a series called "G.O.O.D. Fridays."
