Miranda Kerr's Nude Harper's Bazaar Australia Cover Is Stripped From Australian Grocery Stores

The 32-year-old former Victoria's Secret angel posed nude for the cover of the December 2015/January 2016 issue, draped naked across the cover wearing nothing more than a pair of stilettos and some Swarovski crystals. The magazines hit newsstands just days ago on Dec. 14.

However, according to reports, Coles Supermarkets in Australia removed every trace of the issue—approximately 3,000 copies—from its nearly 800 stores Thursday night after some customers took issue with the scantily clad cover photo.

While Kerr isn't wearing any actual clothing other than a pair of strappy shoes, her arms and legs are significantly posed to conceal any private parts. Still, visitors to the chain complained and the issues were taken out of every magazine aisle of the chain.
This is not the first time that Kerr has taken off clothes for the cover of Harper's Bazaar. She shot the cover of the American issue earlier this year in February in a black floppy hat and little else. In fact, the brunette stunner prefers it that way.

"I wish I could go skinny-dipping in the ocean. If I didn't have to worry about anyone taking my picture, I'd totally be out there. I quite like to be naked," she told the magazine.

Still, this hiccup in Kerr's homeland isn't putting too much of a damper on the people responsible for the publication.

"Obviously I don't want anything damaging to the brand and don't think this is. It's disappointing, but I'm very proud of it, " Editor-in-Chief Kellie Hush told Women's Wear Daily. "Steven Chee is an amazing photographer, my team are proud of it, Miranda is proud of it. It's not going to stop me from pushing boundaries again, that's for sure."
