Adele Gets Dolled Up in the First Promo for the Live in New York City One Night Only Concert Special

"Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Adele!"

Jimmy Fallon's famous voice introduces the Grammy-award winning songstress in a fresh new promo video for the 27-year-old British singer's concert special in New York City, directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller.

Adele, Lorne Michaels and Jonathan Dickins executively produced the event. Is there anything the multi-talented crooner can't do?

In the quick but captivating 40-second clip, shots of Adele preparing for the main event are blended with images of the orchestra prepping, the lights queuing and the control room taking position before the curtain's rise. A director counts down the moments prior to the "Hello" singer taking the stage to start.

While we unfortunately never get to see the brunette beauty at the mic stand, we do get glamorous glimpses of her backstage getting final touch-ups in the makeup chair and holding a drink in a glitzy sequin gown while preparing to make her grand entrance onstage.

Though most of the happenings inside Radio City Music Hall will remain a mystery until the grand televised unveiling on Dec. 14, we do know nearly every celebrity in town made it their mission to attend the sold-out affair, from Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence to Republican presidential contender Donald Trump.
