Kim Kardashian Goes Gray, Picks Up a Copy of Jennifer Lopez's New Book, True Love--and J.Lo Takes Notice!

Who doesn't love a showing of celebrity sisterhood?

Kim Kardashian scored herself a copy of Jennifer Lopez's brand-new memoir, True Love, and was spotted toting it around with her in New York City earlier today while out with Kanye West--and it wasn't just the paparazzi who took notice!

"#thankyou @KimKardashian for picking up your copy of #JLOTRUELOVE!!!" J.Lo tweeted today, zeroing in on the hardback book Kim was holding along with her clutch.

We wonder which part will most inspire Kim...

Just hours after wearing matching military-inspired Balmain looks on a date, the E! star and her hubby kept with the twins theme Friday, stepping out in various shades of gray and similar silhouettes.

Kim was in one of her signature skin-tight long pencil skirts, a curve-hugging sweater with white cuffs and collar, and a sweeping gray duster. Kanye topped his sweater and slouchy pants with a long black coat, the sleeves rolled up to see his sweater underneath--just as his wife wore her coat.

Oh, these two.

Lopez, meanwhile, has been jetting all over the place promoting True Love, sitting down with Hoda Kotb yesterday in NYC for a Q&A during her launch party at the 92nd Street Y.

Talking about ex Ben Affleck, whom in the book she calls her "biggest heartbreak," she told Hoda, "I really felt like I had found somebody great and he had found somebody great and we thought we could make it work."

"I am totally single," Lopez said. But, she added, "It's not going to be forever. Someone great will come along."

Kim doesn't even need to read to the end to know that's absolutely true.

The E! star of course has her own book coming out, too: Kim Kardashian: Selfish will be on shelves April 28, 2015.

The publisher's note hails Kim as "one of the most recognizable and iconic celebrities in the world. From her early beginnings as a wardrobe stylist, Kim Kardashian has catapulted herself into becoming one of the most recognizable celebrities in Hollywood. Hailed by many (including Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci) as the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe, Kim has become a true American icon."
