A video shoot in Compton turned deadly today. The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department is investigating the possible involvement of Death Row Records co-founder Marion "Suge" Knight in a fatal traffic accident Thursday afternoon, NBC News reports. No further details have been released, but law enforcement sources told NBC that they had heard Knight was either a passenger or the driver of a car involved in the incident in question. According to TMZ, who first reported the news, Knight was visiting the set where The Game, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre were shooting a commercial for Game's Documentary 2 when Knight supposedly got into a confrontation with a crew member. TMZ was told that Knight then got behind the wheel, put his car in reverse and hit a bystander, after which he left the scene. The 49-year-old has had his fair share of run-ins with the law recently. Knight was one of three people wounded during an early morning shooting at West Hollywo...

A couple weeks after reports first started circulating that she and relatively new boyfriend Dylan McDermott were engaged, the Stalker star was spotted shopping today in Los Angeles while sporting a massive diamond ring that certainly looks to be of the engagement variety. The co-stars weren't even called out as a couple until October and McDermott only recently publicly ackowledged that they were an item. Asked if any actresses in particular stood out to him at the Golden Globes a few days beforehand, he told Extra on Jan. 14, "I thought actually there were so many beautiful women there, but I think the most beautiful was Maggie Q." Mario Lopez congratulated him and told him Maggie was a great girl, and Lopez smiled and replied, "Thank you." Speaking of the Globes, Maggie was also rocking the ring at the InStyle and Warner Bros. after-party at the Beverly Hilton. Page Six was first to report that McDermott and the Divergent actress were plannin...

The 44-year-old singer and 34-year-old America's Got Talent host are being sued by one of their former nannies who claims she was underpaid and fired for showing "too much affection" for the former couple's twins Moroccan and Monroe. According to legal docs obtained, Simonette DeCosta states that she worked for the separated twosome from October 2013 to Jan. 26, 2014. DaCosta says she cared for the twins during the day, on trips around the world and even lived with Carey and Cannon at times. Her job duties included "feeding, bathing and comforting Ms. Carey's and Mr. Cannon's children who were infants and/or toddlers at the time." DaCosta goes on to allege that she worked "well over 100 hours per week." However, Carey and Cannon did not provide DaCosta with "premium overtime compensation for the hours worked in excess of forty hours" even though she was expected to be "on call every hour of the day" to see ...

It looks like Ellen DeGeneres is trying to outdue her famous 2014 Oscars selfie with Jennifer Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong'o and more! The 57-year-old talk show host shared another epic selfie of herself posing with Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Sam Smith earlier today, "@KanyeWest @JustinBieber @SamSmithWorld #BirthdayShow #Backstage #Incredible," the comedian wrote with the super-smiley star-studded pic. Smith re-posted the adorable selfie on his Instagram with the caption, "#asyoudo." The photo op was made possible because DeGeneres had all three of the music stars on her show this week. When West appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday, he debuted his "Only One" music video in which he serenades North West, the adorable daughter he has with wife Kim Kardashian. As for Bieber, the 20-year-old pop star was quite humble during his appearance. "I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what peo...

Pregnant Liv Tyler showcased her growing baby bump in a cozy-looking, puffy winter coat while walking through the snow-covered streets of New York City on Thursday. With a fuzzy hood and black hat over her head, the 37-year-old actress was seen giving a smile as she made her way down a slippery sidewalk, braving the barely-above freezing temperatures in the city, which was hit by the winter storm Juno earlier this week. She paired the look with black leggings tucked into rubber boots.

Keira Knightley is taking a well-deserved break from all the hullabaloo of awards season to spend some quality time at home in London with her hubby James Righton. The Imitation Game stunner was spotted on a midday stroll earlier today, doing her best to stay warm and keep her baby bump all covered up in an oversized shearling coat. And before you go criticizing the Oscar nominees casual ensemble, we'd like to point out that Knightley herself just explained in Elle U.K.'s March issue that she isn't one to follow fashion trends too strictly. "Break the rules," she told the women's magazine. "I've always hated the idea that you should be wearing this or that, because it makes me feel like I'm getting everything wrong." The 29-year-old continued, "I hated it at school, and I don't want it as an adult. If you want to wear a f--king flowerpot on your head and that makes you happy, then wear a f--king flowerpot on you...

Kesha woke up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy, but she sure didn't look like him by the time afternoon rolled around! The 27-year-old "Timber' singer Instagrammed a super-sexy shot of herself modeling some lingerie-esque attire Thursday. Wearing only a pair of black lace underwear and a see-through top, the masked and braless (!) songstress showed off her slim figure and healthy curves as she posed against a wall. Kesha certainly looks comfortable in her own skin these days, but that hasn't always been the case. In January 2014, she checked into rehab for an eating disorder. After completing two months of treatment, she wrote about the experience for Elle UK, admitting, "I've always tried to be a crusader for loving yourself, but I'd been finding it harder and harder to do personally." "I felt like part of my job was to be as skinny as possible, and to make that happen, I had been abusing my body. I just wasn't giving...

How did Taylor Swift and Sam Smith become BFFs? Well, it appears Ariana Grande played a large part. Several months after the 25-year-old "Shake It Off" singer and 22-year-old British crooner Sam Smith, 22, met and performed together, they sat next to each other at the 2014 American Music Awards, which took place in November in Los Angeles. The two were seen dancing side by side and cheering on several performers, including Grande, who sang a medley of her songs as well as "Bang Bang" with collaborators Jessie J and Nicki Minaj. Grande was seen doing a sexy little shimmy during her solo. "We were front row watching Ariana Grande, loving her performance," Swift told Rolling Stone in an interview posted on Wednesday and is featured in the magazine's Feb. 12, 2015 issue, which features Smith on the cover. "We're both pretty animated when we're watching other artists," she said. "At the end of her performance, s...

Miley Cyrus' Instagram profile is one Photoshopped photo away from becoming an ad for the picture-editing software! The "Wrecking Ball" singer has ousted Kim Kardashian off of her Love magazine cover with Cara Delevingne by pasting herself on instead. The supermodel remains posed as she originally was, making a goofy face with her tongue out, but this time she's about to lick Miley! The Last Song actress must have been proud of her creative change, as she tagged the magazine and her "co-star" in the caption. The original black-and-white cover showed an unfazed Kim posing with a funny Cara, which was shot by Sølve Sundsbø. Although North West's mom Instagrammed the cover just this week, true fans have seen a version of it before, when she teased the super-secret shoot back in September! The cover is the only photo that has been released so far, but we do know that the Cara interviews the E! reality star inside the mag. Unfortunately, we...

Maybe Kenya Moore won't be twirling on this. It appears Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes decided to celebrate her co-star's birthday with quite the unique gift. How does a cease and desist letter sound for a present? "I guess this is @NeNeLeakes way of saying happy birthday!" Moore shared on Instagram Tuesday night with a photo of the letter she received. "#RHOA #HypocrisyAtItsBest #ByeGirl #SheTriedIt #SoNastySoRude." In the letter, Moore is ordered to stop making "any and all false and defamatory statements" that could be injurious to Leakes' character and reputation. It went on to say her postings on BravoTV have been "false, malicious and ostensibly made with the intent to cause damage to [Leakes'] reputation." While Leakes has yet to directly address the case, the Bravolebrity tweeted, "The Thirst Is Real! They need me for press because they can't get none."  One ally Moo...

Will people soon be addressing 2 Chainz as "Mr. Mayor?" The 37-year-old rapper, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, told hip-hop magazine XXL and the Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper this week that he is considering running for mayor of his childhood hometown--College Park, Georgia. He made his comments two weeks after an on-air political debate about pot legalization with outspoken HLN host and legal commentator Nancy Grace went viral online. "I'm a musician, not a politician," the rapper told XXL. "I'm supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I'm really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park. I'm just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications." "I am looking forward to running at the end of this year or next year," he told the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "[I'm] waiting to see if I meet all of the qualifications!" Jack Longino has serve...

A California prosecutor doesn't like that Lindsay Lohan thinks hanging out with fans counts towards her court-mandated community service. The 28-year-old actress received credit for attending a meet-and-greet with volunteers involving a play she was a part of, but Santa Monica Deputy City Attorney Terry White told Judge Richard A. Stone that this shouldn't fly, according to a local NBC affiliate. "If this was Lindsay Smith, nobody would allow this," he said. "I'd love to hang out with a celebrity all day and see their life, but this is not community service." Lohan, who has been spending most of her time in London as of late, also received credit for a "work shadowing experience" with two people, which White described as "basically hanging out with her." The Mean Girls star has come down with Chikungunya, a rare, mosquito-borne virus, leaving her very ill, but according to White, that shouldn't be a reason fo...
