Iggy Azalea Invites Erykah Badu's Daughters to Next Tour After Issuing an Apology on Twitter

The celebrity feud between Erykah Badu and Iggy Azalea may have just come to a head.

In a newly released Twitter video posted by the 44-year-old "The Healer" singer, Badu offered up a haphazard apology to the Grammy nominee she insulted during the 2015 Soul Train Awards.

"I want to do this for my daughters. I want to apologize to Iggy Azalea because she's one of their favorite artists and they listen to her all the time and it's for them," she began.

However, the speech suddenly turned strange when the recording artist launched into a short rant about how her kids should "go be with her then" instead of relying on their mom to support them in their everyday lives, including attending parent-teacher conferences. "Where's Iggy for that?" Badu concluded before the video cut off.

Despite the eccentric twist, Azalea issued a response to the video late Monday, taking the high road with a sweet message to the songstress posted to her own Twitter account.

"Tell the kids I'm a big fan of mom, even if we don't agree where to file my music in their iTunes folders," the "Fancy" rapper joked in reference to Badu's original diss.

"I'm gonna announce a new tour soon, If they do great in class there is officially an open invitation extended to them and friends with good report cards to come and enjoy a show anytime. I am 100% a woman of my word, and I appreciate the apology."

It looks like Badu's young daughters Puma, 11, and Mars, 6, came out on top as the true winners of this celebrity feud, scoring guaranteed tickets to Azalea's undoubtedly sold-out return to the stage—all for the price of some A's.
