Kim Kardashian's Vogue Australia Cover Shoot Involved Pressed Juices, a Decoy Car and...Chocolate Mousse?!

Think Kim Kardashian's Vogue Australia photos just kind of happened? Think again!

A lot goes into a cover shoot like this! On Wednesday, Australian Vogue gave a breakdown by the numbers of all that went into producing their recent Kim feature, and as you'll see, effortless beauty by the beach is anything but effortless!

The Vogue Australia team "travelled across NSW [New South Wales] for two days to look for the perfect beach location, finally settling on Booderee National Park at Jervis Bay," the site revealed. The total distance traveled by the team to and from the shoot? Oh, just 926 kilometers (approximately 575 miles)!

Don't forget, too, that Kim had to fly Down Under for the shoot to begin with. Even then, though, additional efforts had to be made to ensure those pesky photographers wouldn't crash the seaside shoot. So in order to "distract the paparazzi," the mag ordered "a decoy car" to leave Kim's hotel "ahead of time."
There were 19 people on set (which included the hair and makeup team, fashion assistants, photographer and more) who apparently went through 34 bottles of juices from Pressed Juices. There were also 64 Eat Fit Food boxes brought to set (with breakfast and lunch options available, of course).

It wasn't all typical fashion industry food, though: There was dessert! According to Vogue Australia, there were 15 servings of chocolate mousse consumed over the course of the 14-hour day (which spanned from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.).

And while Kim ended up wearing just a few shades of white for the shoot, there were five full racks of clothes she and the magazine team had to work with.
