Bobbi Kristina Brown Hospitalized: Whitney Houston's Daughter Was Found Unresponsive in Bathtub, Police Say

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late Whitney Houston, has been hospitalized after being found unresponsive inside a bathtub on Saturday, almost three years after her mother's death.

Police in Roswell said in a statement that authorities responded to a 911 call that was placed at 10:25 a.m. from a residence in nearby Alpharetta, where the 21-year-old lives with hubby Nick Gordon. They said her "husband and a friend located her in the tub and started CPR."

"When police arrived, life-saving measures were taken over until rescue personnel arrived," the statement said.

Bobbi Kristina was then taken to a hospital. Police are still investigating the incident. Gordon has not commented.

Houston had died at age 48 on Feb. 11, 2012, a day before the Grammys, in a Beverly Hills hotel room. She was found unresponsive inside a bathtub. The cause of death was ruled as accidental drowning, spurred by cocaine use and a heart condition. Houston had battled substance abuse for years.

The iconic singer and The Bodyguard actress was recently the subject of a Lifetime Television Movie, Whitney, which aired on Jan. 17 and was condemned by the pop star's estate.

Bobbi Kristina's father is Houston's ex-husband and fellow singer, Bobby Brown. He has also not commented about his daughter's health scare.

Their turbulent relationship was depicted in the TV film, while Bobbi Kristina was shown as a baby. Brown recently talked about Houston, their substance abuse problems and her death in a candid interview that aired on Lifetime after the movie.
