Were Beyoncé and Jay Z Outbid on $70 Million Beverly Hills Mansion?

Say what?!

You'd think having almost a billion-dollar empire would mean you could get whatever you want, right? Well, apparently that's not always the case if you're Beyoncé and Jay Z.

According to Zillow, the creator of Minecraft, Markus Persson, actually outbid the music power couple on a stunning $70 million mansion in Beverly Hills.

Their sources claim that Persson offered the same amount for the killer pad, but he paid cash and without any contingencies.

The huge sale, which only had a six-day escrow, is officially the most a home has sold for in the famous 90210 area code.

So what does a $70 million dollar price tag get you? Let's see...

The eight-bedroom, 15-bathroom manse sits on top of the super elite Trousdale Estates and features almost 360-views of Los Angeles--from the downtown neighborhood all the way to the coastline.

Persson's new home also offers up a car showroom, candy room, vodka and tequila bars as well as its own screening room, natch.

There's also a 54-foot curved glass door in the living room that opens out onto an infinity pool with the tap of an iPad (you can also control pretty much everything in the place via tablet).

And if lifting a finger isn't really your thing, fret not, because the property came fully furnished and includes a replica of James Dean's motorcycle, as well as an 18-foot onyx dining room table that's all set up to seat 24 of your close friends and family. Rest assured though, the lucky dinner guests will be chowing down on Roberto Cavalli place settings that go for $3,700 each.

Sounds like a dream!
