Nicki Minaj Goes High Fashion in New Roberto Cavalli Campaign

Nicki Minaj is getting her model on!

The "Anaconda" rapper is the newest face of luxe fashion house Roberto Cavalli--and looking seriously sexy in ads for the Spring/Summer 2015 campaign. In the photos, Nicki strikes cool, angular poses in safari-inspired dresses.

"I chose Nicki Minaj because she embodies the exuberant and modern femininity of the Cavalli woman. In recent years we have become accustomed to women castigated in clothes that hide their body shapes. With this campaign, I wanted to send a strong countertrend message. I wanted a sensual woman who is aware of her body, who is not afraid to show her curves," Roberto Cavalli said in a statement about the campaign.

The Cavalli ads show Nicki styled in a range of ensembles from the collection--from chic zebra-print maxis to lacy minis and black caftans. Her hair is pulled into a sleek bob (haircut of the year, we meet again) with a lot of volume on top.
Nicki has been making the talk show rounds lately to promote her latest album, The Pinkprint: On Wednesday, the star stopped by Watch What Happens Live for a one-on-one interview with host Andy Cohen. She also caught up with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Dec. 16.

Minaj's Tonight Show appearance had the star reminiscing--or cringing--about her high school yearbook photos (Fallon also shared funny flashback pics).

But c'mon, if these Cavalli ads prove anything, it's that Nicki is super photogenic.
