New Mom Eva Mendes Gets Back to Work, Designs Line of Bridesmaids Dresses--Get the Scoop!

It's back to business for one hot mama.

Eva Mendes can now add bridal collection designer to her repertoire: The actress has partnered with New York & Company on a capsule collection of bridal party dresses and accessories. The eight frocks were designed with different shapes and silhouettes in mind, and are featured in soft, springtime hues including pale blue, dove gray and rose-pink. The line will hit the brand's website and stores in Los Angeles, Miami and New York in January 2015.

"An important day needs a special dress," the actress said in a statement about the new collection. "I love this collection for weddings and other special events. Feel great and dance the night away!"

This is not Mendes' first venture with the affordable women's wear company: The actress snagged a multi-year deal with the brand for co-branded, seasonal collections--the first of which debuted in fall 2013. Mendes is also a brand ambassador and campaign model for the namesake lines.

This new bridal party collection does make us wonder if Mendes has wedding bells on the brain. The actress has been dating Ryan Gosling since 2011, and the couple welcomed daughter Esmerelda Amada on Sept. 12 of this year.

Mendes has been looking better than ever lately--she flaunted her svelte post-baby bod while filming a new commercial on Oct. 31.

Netflix Pumps Brakes on Will Smith Action Film ‘Fast and Loose’

  Netflix has slowed development on its upcoming action-thriller “Fast and Loose” which Will Smith has been attached to star in. The project has been moved to the streamer’s back burner in the days following the 2022 Oscars ceremony, during which Smith walked onstage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about the appearance of Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. In the week before the Oscars ceremony, director David Leitch reportedly also pulled away from the project, electing to move to the Ryan Gosling vehicle “Fall Guy” for Universal. After beginning to search for a new director, Netflix has now halted “Fast and Loose” in the days following the Oscars.
