Jennifer Aniston, Wearing Daring Dress & Engagement Ring, and Justin Theroux Join Other Celebs at Governors Awards--See Pics!

Jennifer Aniston, wearing a cleavage-baring semi-sheer slip dress and her some 8-carat diamond engagement ring, and fiancé and fellow actor Justin Theroux were among several stars who walked the red carpet at the 2014 Governors Awards, a pre-Oscars event, in Hollywood on Saturday.

The two got engaged in April 2012. Aniston was recently spotted without her ring and her rep explained that the actress was having it cleaned.

Other celebrities who attended the Governors Awards included Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch, who recently got engaged himself, and his latest co-star Keira Knightley, who appears with him in the new movie The Imitation Game and married couples Mark Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Dunham, who brought their daughter Ella, and Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, who are also friends of Aniston and Theroux.

Knightley turned heads in a black, asymmetrial dress with criss cross halter straps. Both Blunt and Reese Witherspoon, an Academy Award recipient, showcased stunning pink-toned looks. Blunt wore a half-floral fuchsia gown, while the latter star channeled her Legally Blonde character Elle Woods and wore a gorgeous hot pink knee-length dress with cap sleeves.

The latter actor's fellow The Office alum Steve Carell was also there, as was, Robert Downey Jr., Oscar winner Octavia Spencer, Mark Ruffalo, Tilda Swinton, Oscar winner Hilary Swank, Jessica Chastain, David Oyelowo, who stars in the new Martin Luther King Jr. biopic Selma with Oprah Winfrey, and his wife Jessica, Eddie Redmayne and Jake Gyllenhaal (check out more photos from the event).

The annual ceremony, which took place at the home of the Oscars, the Dolby Theatre, was held to honor four people: Singer Harry Belafonte was given the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, which Angelina Jolie had received last year, while honorary Oscars were given to French actor and screenwriter Jean-Claude Carriere, Japanese film director Hayao Miyazaki and Irish film actress and singer Maureen O'Hara.

The 2015 Oscars take place on Feb. 22, 2015 and will be hosted by past Emmys and Tonys host, How I Met Your Mother alum and Broadway star Neil Patrick Harris. Nominations are set to be announced on Jan. 15.
