Bill Cosby Joke Gone Wrong: Roseanne Barr Tweets Then Deletes Picture Post About Getting Into a "Tussle" With the Actor

Woops. Roseanne Barr decided to back track on that one.

The comedian attempted to poke fun at Bill Cosby--who has found himself at the center of rampant rape allegations, some of which are decades old and recently resurfaced--by posting a bloody photo of her face on Twitter with the caption, "Got in a tussle w bill cosby. U shoyld see that mfer."

While she thought it was a good idea at the time, Barr seemed to quickly change her mind and ended up deleting the post soon after she tweeted it out. But, she did reference the joke in a follow-up.

Sharing the same close-up picture on Twitter again, she explained, "Got a chemical peel to look more sexier. Joked about tussling cosby."

Despite the ongoing controversy surrounding his past, Cosby returned to the stage recently, performing in front of a packed house at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas.

According to an eyewitness, Cosby came on stage promptly at 8 p.m. to a cheering audience, wearing gray sweat pants, flip-flops and a shirt that read "Hello Friend." On the theater screen behind him, there was a picture of him and Nelson Mandela, and the source says his jokes ranged on topics of race, religion and his upbringing in Philadelphia.

He appeared in good spirits and performed in front of a packed house that continued to rupture with applause at every joke he told, only stumbling once when he attempted a "sex joke."

Cosby touched on the sexual assault talk, joking about his relationship with kids while saying, "Bill Cosby, you're an evil man."
