Beyoncé Releasing New Music, But Not a New Album--Get the Details on Her Platinum Box Set!


Wondering what to get the Beyoncé super-fan in your life this holiday season? Look no further!

On Tuesday, Columbia Records announced the Beyoncé Platinum Edition Box Set--a 2 CD/2 DVD limited edition package set to release Nov. 24. This will include two new songs, "7/11" and "Ring Off," plus four new and unreleased remixes of Bey with some superstar collaborators like Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Pharrell Williams.

That's not all! The Beyoncé Platinum Edition Box Set also includes her original self-titled visual album (which was released last December), featuring 14 songs and 17 music videos, as well as a live performance DVD that chronicles her year-long Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. The box set also includes a mini version of the official 2015 Beyoncé calendar and more.

Fans who've already purchased your Beyoncé visual album, not to worry: You'll be given the opportunity to add on the bonus materials.

The Beyoncé Platinum Box Set isn't a brand-new album, as many were speculating earlier this week, but it's definitely got some previously unheard Queen Bey material (which is obviously something to get excited about). Of course, it's going to be tough for the 33-year-old mother of one to top her fifth studio album, which dropped seemingly out of nowhere around midnight Dec. 13, 2013, but if anyone can live up to the hype, it's the "XO" songstress.

Netflix Pumps Brakes on Will Smith Action Film ‘Fast and Loose’

  Netflix has slowed development on its upcoming action-thriller “Fast and Loose” which Will Smith has been attached to star in. The project has been moved to the streamer’s back burner in the days following the 2022 Oscars ceremony, during which Smith walked onstage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about the appearance of Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. In the week before the Oscars ceremony, director David Leitch reportedly also pulled away from the project, electing to move to the Ryan Gosling vehicle “Fall Guy” for Universal. After beginning to search for a new director, Netflix has now halted “Fast and Loose” in the days following the Oscars.
