Joan Rivers Gets Posthumous Women's Image Network Award Nomination for Fashion Police

Joan Rivers is getting a very special posthumous honor.

Almost two months after the legendary 81-year-old comedian passed away from complications of throat surgery, Rivers has been nominated for a Women's Image Network Award for hosting the hit E! show Fashion Police.

Rivers' WIN nomination is for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in last year's "September Issue" episode of Fashion Police. Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, a producer on Fashion Police, is also nominated for producing the "September Issue" episode.

Rivers is certainly in good company for this year's WIN Awards. Other notable nominees include Shonda Rhimes, who is nominated for a producing award for Scandal, and Julia Roberts and her niece Emma Roberts, who are both nominated in the category of TV Miniseries or Movie for The Normal Heart and American Horror Story: Coven respectively.

Julie Bowen, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Zooey Deschanel, Whoopi Goldberg, Heidi Klum, Giuliana Rancic, Michelle Trachtenberg, Chelsea Handler, Vera Farmiga, Diane Kruger, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Yolanda Foster and Lena Headey are all also nominated.

The 2014 WIN Awards take place on Sunday, Dec. 14.
